In business since 2003, Arbutus Routes first operated under the name of Whistler Outback Adventures and underwent a re-branding in 2011. The re-branding came as a result of the growth in the company in operating trips in more regions outside of Whistler as well as the need to find a distinct name to represent our unique operation.
Arbutus Routes specializes in guided biking and hiking tours, bike rentals and corporate team building events. Our biking and hiking tours range from a 2-hour local trip to a week-long adventure into a number of destinations across the province, including the Sea to Sky Corridor, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island, the Chilcotin Mountains and the Okanagan valley. Located in the heart Whistler's Upper Village, our storefront carries a range of active and lifestyle clothing, biking apparel and accessories and a full service bike shop. Specializing in cross-country, trail, road and family bikes our fleet of bike rentals is in excess of 50 of this year's bikes.
