Senior Bike Mechanic
Full-time. April – October.
We’re currently hiring for a Senior Bike Mechanic. You have strong workshop skills and a minimum of 2 years in a commercial bicycle workshop environment. This is a seasonal full-time role from April through October. All applicants must have the right to work in Canada for the duration of the season.
You will be a key member of our workshop team. This will involve completion of customer services and repairs, along with assisting with rental fleet repair, setup and maintenance. You will be required to assist Junior mechanics with technical repairs and advice. This role also requires aiding retail customers and our rental & sales team with purchases, rentals and other store related tasks.
Duties and responsibilities
The following are a list of responsibilities required for this position:
- Completes customer services and repairs.
- Maintains the rental fleet to our service and safety standards.
- Maintains a clean and professional workshop space.
- Assists other staff members when required.
- Provides technical assistance to retail customers with purchases of all products.
- Handles sales transactions.
- Involved in daily operations of the store; including Rentals, Repairs and Retail.
- Books guests for tours, workshop services and rental reservations.
- Works closely with the Supervisors to keep them aware of product needed, status of rental fleet and general store operations
Skills & Qualifications
In order to carry out the required responsibilities the employee is expected to hold the following skills and qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bike Industry Experience and a passion for bikes.
- Minimum of 2 yrs Commercial Bicycle workshop experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiently service and maintain all aspects of a bicycle.
- Routine Suspension Servicing (Fork Lowers and Rear Shock Air Can).
- Frame bearing replacements.
- Wheel building.
Additional Skills (Training Provided):
- AXS/Di2 Installation and Setup.
- Suspension Damper Services.
- E-bike diagnosis and repair.
Compensation

Junior Bike Mechanic

- SRAM Disc brake installation and bleeding.
- SRAM Drivetrain installation and adjustments.
Additional Skills (Training Provided):
- Routine Suspension Maintenance (Fork Lowers & Shock Air Can Service).
- Wheel tensioning.
- Dropper post installation and setup.
There is opportunity for growth and advancement to Senior Mechanic positions in season.
